Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Homeownership Track: Marisabel’s Story
We are thrilled to share that Marisabel, a dedicated participant in the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Homeownership Track at RCAP Solutions, has recently closed on her first home in Fitchburg, Massachusetts! Marisabel is a driven participant who was very determined to reach her homeownership goals. She worked endlessly to move up in her career and earn higher wages to be a step closer to her end goal. With financial and homeownership education, she was able to fully prepare, work on an FSS escrow savings account, graduate from the FSS program, and buy her first home in just under two years! 🥳 🔑 🏡

The FSS Homeownership Track can assist Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher holders and Project-Based Voucher recipients with targeted information about becoming a successful homebuyer/homeowner. Participants benefit from free educational workshops, referrals, and rewards for increasing their earned income through savings in an escrow account.
