Worcester, MA – RCAP Solutions has been awarded $100,000 to strengthen its eviction prevention case management services, helping families across Central Massachusetts remain safely and stably housed amid rising housing costs and an increasingly competitive rental market.
The funding was awarded through Greater Worcester Community Foundation as part of a $1,045,000 distribution to nonprofits addressing essential basic needs across Worcester County. The grants were made possible by two anonymous donors from outside the region who responded to recent federal funding cuts and policy changes affecting vulnerable populations.
The grant to RCAP Solutions is designated for general operating support, allowing the organization to respond flexibly to the growing demand for housing stability services and to direct resources where they can have the greatest immediate impact.

Founded in 1969, RCAP Solutions has spent more than five decades helping individuals and families access safe, affordable housing. The nonprofit offers eviction prevention and housing counseling, financial assistance, and subsidized housing and voucher programs, and manages multiple affordable housing properties throughout Central Massachusetts.
RCAP Solutions was one of several Central Massachusetts organizations selected to receive funding through Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s basic needs grantmaking initiative.
