Summary: Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist will assist with the talent acquisition efforts at RCAP Solutions, along with providing guidance and solutions on human resources operational activities. In addition, the Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in sourcing attracting and retaining talent while supporting a strong team culture. The Human Resources Generalist serves as contact for employees and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage beginning-to-end recruitment process, from initial job requisition to onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective job descriptions.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media channels, referrals, etc.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present recommendations to hiring managers.
- Facilitate onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Respond to employee questions and resolve any Human Resources issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices.
- Partner with the Human Resources Manager when conducting local level investigations and resolving employee issues.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
- Responsible for the maintenance of employees electronic/non-electronic files and manage all employee data changes through the HRIS system.
- Ensure HR operation is operating in accordance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, e.g., Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII, etc.
- Support affirmative action programs. Audit and maintain current work authorizations.
- Assist with administration of Workerβs Compensation policies and procedures.
- Assist with benefits open enrollment, along with regularly updating necessary benefit changes into the benefit portals.
- Support with HR team projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience with demonstrated knowledge of HR practices, legal rules, and regulations and/or at least 2-3 years of full cycle recruiting.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual strongly preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience applying knowledge of state employment laws to assess compliance issues.
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) with the aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to manage confidential information.

Certifications or Licensures:
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred, but not required.
