This workshop provides an overview of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and the regulatory backdrop that impacts public water systems. The regulatory history is lengthy and covers many aspects to providing quality drinking water. This course will cover regulatory history, current and recent changes to drinking water regulations that support source water quality and treatment. This training is also for potential water operators, managers, and board members.
