EPA WIIN Program Splashes into New Hampshire Elementary Schools, Ensuring Safe Drinking Water Access
Over the past several months, RCAP Solutions has been working alongside Gilmanton School and Freedom Elementary School in New Hampshire to help ensure students and staff have access to safe drinking water. Through the EPA WIIN (Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation) Program, our team has supported these schools with lead reduction efforts, drinking water resources, and technical assistance designed to promote healthier learning environments.
Most recently, we joined students, teachers, and school staff to celebrate the installation of new water bottle filling stations. We also conducted educational sessions to help students and educators better understand the importance of safe drinking water and distributed reusable water bottles to encourage healthy hydration habits.
These improvements help reduce potential lead exposure risks while increasing access to cleaner drinking water for school communities.
