Position Summary: The Secure Jobs Initiative is a program designed to support families that are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness by connecting them with employment and housing resources. It aims to increase economic stability by integrating employment and housing services. The program, which includes “Pathways to Work” initiatives, provides support in three key areas: Education and Career, Stable Housing, and Family Stability and Well-being. The Secure Jobs Case Manager is responsible for intakes and assessments of qualifying families as well as assessing their needs for re-housing and sustainable employment opportunities. They will refer and connect clients to services and assist them in achieving housing stability, in addition to being responsible for any additional activities and assignments that may be delegated by the Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management to clients that are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness by connecting them with employment and housing resources.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments to collect financial, employment, housing, education, and health information as appropriate to assist with employment retention and exploring higher education.
- Lead monthly meetings with SJI clients to establish the front-facing barriers. Develop and provide support systems to meet with client’s needs by identifying and coordinating a variety of available services necessary to maintain independent living, self-sufficiency, and family stabilization. (i.e. employment search, housing search, food pantries, daycare, utility assistance, health care, higher education, etc.)
- Conduct outreach efforts to provide the most current employment and educational resources.
Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and vendors. - Conduct monthly client visits, or as needed and discussed with RCAP Solutions and funders.
- Attend monthly program meetings and additional meetings as needed.
- Responsible for executing monthly reporting to the Finance Department, the funders, and as needed by RCAP Solutions. Lead with RCAP Solutions values: Integrity, Empathy, Empowerment, Passion, Community and a Commitment to a Better Tomorrow
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience Requirements:
- 1-3 years working in the Human Services field or case management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients, management, and peers. Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while meeting all deadlines; the ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize; and attend/participate in meetings presenting a team player approach.
Must provide exceptional customer service. - Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, database systems, etc.
- Must maintain a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to deal with multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) required.
- Experience with assisting clients with housing search/resources preferred.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required; some college beneficial but not required.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license and have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel throughout the Worcester County area to meet with clients

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Typical work settings include the ability to spend extended hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
- Move regularly from sitting to standing position as well as frequently bending to file and print documents.
- Ability to work on repetitive tasks and use fine motor skills to handle and control objects.
- Ability to use earpieces or headphones. Speak, listen, and understand others.
- Occasionally lift 15 to 30 lbs.
- Travel regularly throughout Central Massachusetts

- $25.00–$27.00 per hour
