The discussion includes the most frequent variations such as extended aeration\, contact stabilization\, sequential batch reactors (SBR)\, membrane biological realtors (MBR)\, and biological nutrient removal (BNR).  Beyond discussing the process\, the material also reviews operation\, process control\, maintenance\, documentation\, and compliance. The design of this training is focused on communities and/or organizations that work with communities. For experienced personnel or beginners\, it is a good opportunity to acquire or review basic concepts about activated sludge and package wastewater treatment plants.
